Location: Washington, DC (In-Office)

Compensation: $65,000–$85,000

Tower Strategy is a Washington, D.C.–based government affairs and strategic advisory firm operating at the intersection of national security, trade, energy, and geopolitical risk. We advise domestic and international clients navigating complex U.S. federal policy environments.

We are seeking a disciplined, detail-oriented Policy Associate to support legislative analysis, client advisory work, and strategic engagement efforts. This is an in-office role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, high-accountability environment and wants direct exposure to serious policy work.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze federal legislation, regulatory developments, and geopolitical trends

• Draft client-ready memos, executive summaries, and briefing materials

• Support meeting preparation for Capitol Hill, Executive Branch, and stakeholder engagements

• Conduct targeted policy research across trade, defense, energy, and technology sectors

• Assist in development of strategic positioning materials for clients

• Track legislative calendars, committee activity, and agency rulemakings

• Support business development research and proposal preparation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred

• Strong writing and analytical skills

• Demonstrated interest in U.S. government, national security, or trade policy

• Ability to synthesize complex information clearly and concisely

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail

• Comfortable working in a structured, in-office environment

Preferred Experience

• Experience on Capitol Hill, in a federal agency, trade association, consulting firm, or government affairs role

• Exposure to defense, export controls, trade policy, or supply chain issues

• Familiarity with legislative tracking tools and policy research platforms
